Come join us for our next networking and training opportunity on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at The Radisson Hotel Roseville.  We're looking forward to exciting presentations from Susan McGinnis with Target and Jake Bernier with US Bank. Attendees of this quarterly training session will receive three hours of fraud related, non-NASBA Ethics CPE and MN POST credits, and it also includes a full breakfast buffet.

Back by popular demand!  Suzan McGinnis is the Director of the Ethics Team at Target Corporation. Suzan joined Target in 2017 and is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the company’s ethics program, and related processes, including the creation and maintenance of relevant policies and procedures.

Session 1: The Role of Choice in Understanding Ethical Decisions and Actions

Looking beyond the fraud triangle that investigators are familiar with, we will explore the role of choice when people make ethical decisions within an organization, what happens when employees use individual and personal ethics to help guide decisions (choices) that clash with an organization’s definition of ethics and expectations. What do you do and how do you respond as an investigator, organization and steward of culture for your organization?

Jake Bernier is a Red Teamer at a local Fortune 500 company where he tinkers and challenges security practices. Jake's past experience includes a variety of security assessments including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, social engineering, red teaming, and more. He enjoys his time outside of work as an adjunct teacher at a local college teaching the techniques of penetration testing.

Session 2: Overview of Ethical Hacking

The presentation will include a brief overview of ethical hacking and the benefits it can provide followed by a Q&A discussion.

The Board of Directors will hold their quarterly meeting immediately following the conclusion of the training session at 11:00am.
