Honoring Veterans. Exposing Fraud.

This week, we recognize both Veterans Day and International Fraud Awareness Week two observances that intersect in a powerful way.

Sadly, veterans are disproportionately targeted by fraudsters. From benefit scams to phony charities, these schemes don’t just steal money, they exploit the trust and sacrifice of those who’ve served.

As fraud examiners, we have a responsibility to shine a light on these schemes and strengthen protections for our veteran community. At Twin Cities ACFE, we’re committed to raising awareness, sharing best practices, and equipping professionals with tools to fight back.
